Enable external IDE interface to python interpreter inside a running image

We are trying to use remote interpreters to hook up external IDE's like pycharm to a running environment.

Ideally similar to how there is a pod that is set up to allow  ssh for files, there could be a similar pod that allows us to point an interpreter to point to the python interpreter inside of a running environment.

At current the file pod has it's own python interpreter and environment and so it does not meet our needs.

Alternatively, similar to how there is a built in Jupyter interface, there could be a built in pycharm interface to environments. This is less ideal as it adds more bloat and constraints to the images that are being run as environments.

To my knowledge 2.x is only available for cloud not for prem is that correct?

I have used jupyter lab, and while it is nice and a step up from jupyter notebooks, it does not quite have all the functionalities pycharm does.

We have a new Python IDE in 2.x - Jupyter Lab, that we encourage you to take a look and let us know if that will suffice the need.
