Hi Robert, thank you for submitting the idea. From your description, my understanding of the ask is to enable users to access metadata and lineage captured in WKC from within external 3rd party tools such as Power BI, Powercenter.
On our roadmap, we plan to support a browser plugin that allows context term lookup (current target 2H 2024), so that may partially address your requirement if the 3rd party tools' user interfaces are browser-based, but we do not plan to have direct integration with 3rd party tools to access metadata and lineage captured in WKC from those tools as you described.
Today, metadata and lineage from 3rd party tools can be imported into WKC either through natively supported connectors or through the MANTA Automated Data Lineage add-on. Power BI is supported today, while Powercenter is on the roadmap for Q3 2023.
Regards,
Susanna Tai
