to be able to download a list of all available user groups and roles to be able to see what has been set up and available to use that is more accessible than the current hover over pop up on each item. at the moment it is very difficult to see what roles we have set up and permissions attached as there isnt even a copy and paste function, you have to hover over each one and write them down separately. there could be several dozen items to do this on which is not only time consuming it can lead to lots of errors, mistyping etc. to be able to export this information into an excel file you can then manipulate that data more easily to see what you have in the system

Hello, i think so. this was a while a go we were looking at this... basically, we need to perform checks that users have the correct permissions - we have used role based permissions to control this and no individual (outside the central data governance team) should have permissions outside their give role. what we want to be able to do is extract all the available roles and the permissions that are assigned to them. at present this is a very arduous task as you have to manually hover over each roles permission and type into somewhere else.
Hi Chris, thank you for submitting the Aha idea. I'd like to confirm - are you referring to the main Access Control page where you'd set up CPD users, groups and user roles?
