Multi-level category security

We have multiple primary categories with multi-level subcategories. The All Users group is added with the Viewer role by default. Because of inheritance, all subcategories are viewable by all users. In some instances, we need to branch the subcategories to handle different artifacts and need to restrict access depending on the branch. We could remove All Users from the primary category and add at the appropriate subcategory, but that limits access at the primary. We need a way to put a "deny access" option on categories. With that feature we could leave All Users at the primary and then on subcategory-n allow inheritance and on subcategory-x use "deny All Users". This would have to take into account users in the individual or group access would be in All Users. This method would greatly enhance the usability of WKC category structures.

Michael - Thank you for the submission. We are reviewing options with the dev team to see what could be accomplished by when and will follow up if we have clarification questions.
