RELATED IDEAS

Catalog and project export feature are not available in ICP4D

Summary:

In the previous version, we had the option to export the project/catalog but in the current 4.6.5, the feature is not Available.


Our team wants to bulk export the project/catalog assets, due to this limitation team are unable to achieve the required requirement

    Here is the update from the Team, that Both options Suggested will not help.


    -> We want to pull all assets(including custom assets) from the Catalogs and governance artifacts along with the relationships. These details will be fed into downstream systems for various business needs. Currently, we have only the option to use APIs and it is not scaling up.

    Harsha - Could you be more specific please on what you are trying to export? To export assets from a catalog, you must first add them to a project. Once assets are in a project, they can be exported with the tray icon. https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-paks/cp-data/4.6.x?topic=projects-exporting-project. You will need Admin or Editor permissions to export from a project.
