Request to enable the creation of lineage with Watson Query

In the current version of IKC (4.8.1), there is no capability to create lineage using Watson Query. After consulting with the IBM Customer Engineering (CE) team working on the UMAG POC, it appears that this functionality is not available.

Enhancement Request:
We request that IBM Knowledge Catalog be enhanced to support lineage creation with Watson Query. Without this capability, any virtualization performed through Watson Query cannot be captured in lineage, leading to the loss of transformation logic visibility. This gap significantly undermines the effectiveness of lineage tracking and does not provide users with the full context of data transformations.

Business Value:

By enabling lineage creation with Watson Query, users will be able to track and visualize transformation logic across virtualized environments, ensuring that all data transformations are documented and accessible. This enhancement is crucial for maintaining the integrity of data governance and providing users with complete transparency into the data lifecycle.

    The request to allow lineage creation using Watson Query is a pretty cool idea, it could help meIBM Knowledge Catalog geometry dash subzero is improved to support lineage creation using Watson Query.
