Allow more than 300 characters in data asset descriptions

Hello!

When we started editing some data asset descriptions, we received a message that it was not allowed to use more than 300 characters.

We understand that allowing longer descriptions would be interesting, especially in a data catalog where we often need to enrich the descriptions with as much detail as possible.

That is why we would like to suggest, if possible, a limit of 4000 characters, which is a value adopted by some tools from other technology providers that we use.

Hi Wesley, thank you for submitting the idea. We can increase the char limit for asset description. However, we'd like to propose increasing it to 3000 char limit to be consistent with the limit for asset descriptions in projects. Will that work for you?

    Regards,

    Susanna Tai
