Return to asset context user left off

Currently when reopening a project the user directly sees the project tab contextually related to the last opened project page, in particular:

  • Assets tab (All asset mode) when Assets or an Asset page was last open Jobs tab when Jobs or a Job page was last open

  • Manage tab (Access control section) when any Manage section was last open


For several tool asset the current behaviour does not restore context sufficiently. For example, when user worked in Metadata import or Metadata enrichment these work with 1,000s of data assets. When returning to the Assets tab the All asset mode will list 1,000s of data assets and the user can not easily find the tool asset where they left off.
Enhance the behaviour in two ways:

  • When an asset was last open, return to the Assets tab and, if available, the mode corresponding to the type of that asset e.g. Metadata enrichment for a Metadata enrichment asset.

  • When a Manage section was last open, return to that section e.g. Metadata enrichment.
