setting to restrict pasting text to free text fields or forcing them to "paste as plain text"

We would like to have a setting where admin can restrict users to paste text or force users to use "paste as plain text" to free text fields like business terms or rules names etc.

We have a lot of cases where users pasted text includes some special characters which cause issues later in data supply chain like in reporting.

For example restricting paste text in description fields is not probably a good idea so paste in plain text would be better solution.

We do not know if "paste as plain text" removes special characters or does it just remove the fonts's format.

FYI this is the list of unicode characters that are now giving us problems in *names* of categories, terms...  There are likely many others, these are the ones we have observed so far.  For example codes 10 and 13 are "line break" type of characters.

From the discussion today with Jukka, I understand that this is not about descriptions but rather about the asset/artifact names.

Specific category of special characters that is problematic, is invisible whitespace ASCII-226 signs. Is there anything else which we should try to skip?

Thank you for the Idea. At this time we are not considering such restrictions. On the contrary, we have more clients who are asking for support for rich text fields in their business terms and definitions.
