Hover over governance artifacts

Currently, the descriptions of governance artifacts are only available in the documentation and in configurations and settings -> manage assets and artifact definitions. For example, explanations such as what a category is, its purpose, its lifecycle, and how it should be used; or what a catalog, a project, etc. represent.

Making these definitions more visible in the product would help clients better understand the correct setup, especially in a federated environment. While these definitions do exist in the documentation, they are not easy to find, and we should not expect end users to be data or semantics experts.

Hi, we do accept the requirement. Providing a basic description of artefacts in the product makes sense; however, we are leaning toward displaying it as plain text rather than a hover tooltip, as this will offer better accessibility and visibility within the product. Once this is prioritized on the roadmap, we will update the comment accordingly.

Great idea! My client has over a 100 markets that are planning to use this solution, and a incredibly large metadata catalogue, they want this feature to help their team save time and have clarity quickly on the descriptions - to select the right ones, and avoid duplications.
