The goal for this was to use MCP to translate add Knowledge Accelerators (KA), then use Bob or other MCP server to translate to french. I have successfully tested this using current wx.data intelligence mcp server and asking Bob to translate the terms. But when we originally attempted this, the MCP responded it did not have tools for KA, so originally thought we were stuck.Â
But to answer your question, since we are doing translation, this has to be done using mcp. Because the MCP client is doing the tranlation work.
Using export import + translation would be a lot of steps considering the customer has installed all knowledge accelerators, there are tons of terms. This would be a lot of manual steps. It is probably best served through MCP.
I did a test with Bob, pointed Bob to the Doc of the api for the KA and the github for wx.data intelligence. Bob modified the code in minutes, so should not be hard to do. If you want, I should still have that code somewhere, I can send it to you.

Does this have to be done via MCP, or could the customer export the file, translate it with their preferred tool, and then reimport?
