Generalized code assistant RAG use case trainable for multiple languages

Multiple IBM clients have approached me with a request to have a generalized watsonx Code Assistant that combines the existing Granite-code models with a RAG partner use case.   

  1. Ability to fine tune a granite-code model such that it has the latest information about a particular (or multiple) code versions, say Angular v16.
  2. Take existing GIT repositories and/or existing company coding practices and code samples and use to tune the model or use in a RAG pattern where it uses the best practices along with granite-code base/instruct or tuned to answer questions

Will increase productivity of a broader range of developer activities allowing for more flexible use of granite-code models.
