Thanks for sharing these insights on evolving data and AI infrastructure — it’s helpful to see how different platforms are approaching scalable architectures and integrations. As more teams explore MCP server implementation and the challenges around deploying AI-driven systems, having clear guidance can make a big difference. I recently found this resource that talks about MCP server development and consultation in a practical way: https://mobisoftinfotech.com/services/mcp-server-development-consultation, and it added some useful context to the topic. Looking forward to seeing how these conversations evolve!
The next generation of WCA which is targeted for 2H25 will be agentic and will support MCP. More details to come in the coming weeks/months
My team is interested in this feature as well. Thanks for creating this request.
MCP has reached critical mass and quickly garnered support by many major platforms and all major LLM providers. In order to continue to have WCA be relevant and IBM Software developers remain competitive, MCP must be included in our tooling.
I think it's a good idea. Support for MCP and A2A is likely to become standard.
For IBM, which places a strong emphasis on openness, actively aligning its services with open standards is considered a highly important initiative.
