AI Agent for Stress test on IBM Z

At Fall 2025 AI Council, multiple clients indicated that an AI agent for Stress test on Z will be vital to their organization.  Donna Dillenberger had indicated that IBM Research is playing with this item, so this requirement should be directed to her.   Clients include Citi & USAA.

An AI agent that can generate stress test scenarios from descriptions is critical for accelerating time-to-market and reducing dependency on specialized skills. Traditional stress testing often requires deep technical expertise and manual scripting, which slows down delivery. By automating scenario creation from natural language descriptions, teams can quickly validate system resilience without waiting for scarce performance engineers. This approach improves agility, lowers costs, and ensures robust systems are ready faster—especially important in competitive markets where speed and reliability are key.

In addition to Z, clients requested this for other platforms as well (Linux on Z, TPF).
