Let's enable users to model their own natural language. I realize adding support for language is not easy. However, to really achieve more widespread adoption, we need support for more languages. I believe there are many IBMers like me, but also developers from outside of IBM, that are passionate about their language and would be glad to contribute their time and knowledge to be able to add support for other languages. All that would have to be done would be to create and expose an interface that would enable users to create a language model - by inputting rules etc. that are needed to support the language, and publish the availability of the interface to the IBMers and the community. It would be glad if a language model, once built, could be used in multiple Watson products, not just WDS. We could even think about (that is one of the options) building an open-source language modelling tool - but even if not open-sourced, it still would be great if a language model is generic and reusable.

We now have a pretty good model for this via Watson NLP - please contact me if you have a language that needs to be added with support of local team
