The HB team has now wanted the same feature out of Discovery twice - in one case, we went a different direction because we didn't want to give tooling magic powers, in the other case, we wrote the feature into the demo.
If an internal team building on top of the API has wanted to do this twice, it's likely that customers will want to, as well. Perhaps it should be provided by the API or we should publish examples more explicitly.
The feature is: the ability to show snippets (highlights and/or passages) that Discovery has pulled out as interesting /in context/.
By clicking the "Post Comment" or "Submit Idea" button, you are agreeing to the IBM Ideas Portal Terms of Use.

"They would make it somewhat easier to build it yourself, but the whole point of the feature request was to make it so you /wouldn't/ have to build it yourself. Turge and I think it would be more in line with what we're asking for to have an optional passages.full=true (for example) that shows the passages literally in context of the field they came from."
Does passages providing offsets solve this for you? If so, I'll mark this as planned.
