Watson Discovery v2 connectors for private/protected websites should support redirection support other Authenication mechanisms

Customer has a private / protected website that they want to crawl using a Discovery v2 IBM connector for web crawling.

The private / protected website has redirection to login page and authentication is using Azure Multi Factor authentication.

Today Watson Discovery v2 connector for Web crawling can be configured with Basic authentication, but does not work for the above use case.

As per IBM, writing a custom scrapper for above scenario is the only possibility supported.

The above should be a fairly common use case for Customers and writing and maintaining any Customization comes at a cost for the Customer.

We request that this capability be built into Watson Discovery v2 connectors itself without requiring any custom code.

This will benefit all IBM Customers who want to use Discovery v2 web crawl connector and have a private / protected web site that uses authentication mechanism other than basic authentication. Basic authentication is not as per Security standards of mist Customers whose internal Security teams insist on a more secure and standard authentication mechanism like SAML based authentication, Azure AD, etc, and typically this involves redirection for login.
