Support WITH RECURSIVE in PrestoDB (watsonx.data)

PrestoDB in watsonx.data doesn't support WITH RECURSIVE statement which is a blocker for selling watsonx.data to some of our potential customers. It would be important to have it supported as other data lakehouse solutions support it. For example Trino has support for this.
Example:

WITH RECURSIVE cte(n) AS (
    SELECT 1
    UNION ALL
    SELECT n + 1 FROM cte WHERE n < 50)
SELECT * from cte

    https://trino.io/docs/current/sql/select.html#with-recursive-clause

Trino's WITH RECURSIVE CTE support is in the experiment feature only, and here is the feedback on why and it is still open to fix it or make it efficient.

There is a workaround to achieve this without the WITH RECURSIVE clause.

Can you give some examples of potential queries? It might be possible to solve that directly without generic recursive query support.
    This feature should not be
a blocker for selling watsonx.data, IMHO
