We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Post ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
Make CP cumulFunction and expressions accept float instead of int
cumulFunction and expressions currently only allow the resource usage to be int which is not useful for all resource types. Whilst a workaround of multiplying the int by a large number to approximate the float is possible there are limitations and...
Improve OPL Interfaces by providing dynamically typed API and a “façade” compatible with the .NET framework
Using OPL interface in .Net is cumbersome. Manipulate data elements object and result is far from being trivial.By example, instantiate an int look like that:OplDataSource dataSource = new MyCustomDataSource(oplF);internal class MyCustomDataSource...
Since FORTRAN is one of the TOP20 programming languages in the TIOBE index (https://www.tiobe.com/tiobe-index/), I suggest that IBM create mixed-integer linear programming models with CPLEX and FORTRAN. I have not found a library similar to Conce...
Is there an equivalent of Cplex.SolveFixed() for OPL Script ?I'm looking for dual costs of a MILP.So I'd like to1) solve it to get the solution.2) solve the corresponding LP with fixed integer variables3) get dual costsI don't know in advance the ...
I think that it can be valuable to offer OPL as a DSL in .NET. This can be an easy (cheap) way to combine the best of OPL and of the Cplex .NET API in one language. This way OPL remain for the definition of the problem but the control flow will be...

This request is actually for CPLEX Enterprise Server, not CPLEX Optimization Studio, but CES was not an option in the list of products.Currently CES is only able to solve models implemented in OPL. We would like to be able to submit and solve app...
