Directory Security

Under 'Team Content' There are various modules that should be limited to certain groups of people within the organization. Following the directions for version 11.1.5 of Cognos Analytics release ; using specific role to limit folders is a great feature. However, this feature limits to only one folder/directory per role/group.

    Thank you for submitting this idea. You can currently configure custom folders per role, and disable Team Content, which will limit the folders visible for that role. As you suggested, you can also create folders under Team content, and restrict their visibility based on roles, groups and users.
