Thank you for your response to this idea.
I am happy to see progress to the glass UI. First something about the new summary in 11.1.7. The number of recipients is missing in new summary. It should be instead of just “Email” like “Email (2 recipients)”.
Second about the main point of this idea. Unfortunately does the implemented solution in 11.1.7 not solve the core problem. A quick overview to all report steps is still missing. You still have to open each job step to see the summary, which is time consuming.
The best way to solve this is to add some icons (output, delivery, language) on the “Custom” line, there is enough space to do that. Another solution could be to show the summary in a hoverbox.
This request will be delivered in the Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 release. It doesn't replace custom but a summary is present when you click on edit in the job step.
