Prompt choice of Data Sets

In Cognos Analytics we can create a Data Source and in that Data Source define multiple connections. Then if a report is developed using that Data Source, at report runtime we will be prompted to choose which connection to use.

Similar functionality with Data Sets and Data Modules would be great. For example, we'd like to create two data sets with identical structure, but different data elements, such as Customers from North America and Customers from South America. Then create a Data Module of these two data sets. Then, if a report is created using this data module there would be a prompt to select which data set to use.

Thank you for this feedback. We are currently working on a similar functionality for Data Modules. Would this fulfill your use case requirements?
