Report Studio User Interface

In Report Studio, I' would like to have more options to customize the panels displayed when showing details of the queries:

1. Allow to change width of panels ‘Data Items’ vs ‘Detail Filters'

2. Allow to change height of the 3 panels ‘Detail Filters’, ‘Summary Filters’ and Slicers’

3. Add expand/collapse buttons on ‘Slicer’ and ‘Summary Filter’ panels (these are rarely used compared to 'Detail Filters')

4. Use all available space to display more text in ‘Details Filters’. For now, the text is truncated, forcing to double click to see each filter expression or to hover to see it as tooltip.

Attached is a picture showing these requests.

The example show a report query with lot of filters. It's painful to use scrollbar and to double each filter to see its details, while, there's a lot of unused space in the interface.

    Great idea. The ability to resize or remove un-needed content would improve the product no end.


    One thing I would also add is the ability to resize additional windows that are opened, for example the Find window cannot be resized and this makes it difficult to read the Matched Text column.
