Simplified Single IP for Audit logging service when using multiple NICs

Problem Statement: When servers have multiple network adapter cards, Cognos audit is logged as a mix of both the IPs. This makes it difficult for customers to analyze audit data and there is a slight chance that you might miss the data unless you add both the IPs in your scope.

There is a process of setting up member coordination host, when using multiple network adapters. This is mentioned in point 4b of the documentation here, Managing the Configuration Group - IBM Documentation.

This was previously a problem in member coordination host and flippers, which was then fixed by introducing a pattern for WebSphere Liberty. However, the logging service, which records log messages, does not use this pattern. This enhancement request is to create a similar solution like the member coordination host, but for logging service.

Current Workaround: Adding multiple IPs for each server in scope for analyzing audit logs.

Proposed Solution: Use matching pattern not just for configuration group in Cognos Analytics, but also for the audit LOGGING service.

Benefits: I am speaking from the customers point of view. It would make our life a bit easier for analyzing audit data, which is necessary when it comes to various compliance and regulation of different countries. From a maintenance point of view, it would be highly beneficial when performing troubleshooting activities using audit logs.
