Dashboard Drill Through Definition - use datasource data items, not just fields in visuals

When creating a dashboard drill through definition you can only easily use data items that on visualisation to pass through to report parameters.


When you have lots of navigation paths it isn't easy to pass through all the appropriate data items to report parameters.


For example I have a dashboard that shows product line sales. This can be drilled to product type and product.


I want to create a drill thru to a report that can take Product Line, Product Type, Product as parameters.

When I create the dashboard drill through definition, I can only map Product Line to the appropriate parameter. Product Type and Product are not in the visualisation so cannot be mapped to report parameters.


There are workaround to this, either navigate to the different levels (and remember to navifate back to the preferred default state) or add another visual with product line and product on itc, map the drill through and remove the visual.


The drill through definition window should have an advanced mode, so that rather than showiing only data items used in the dashboard I can choose and data item from the data module.
