I’ve worked a bit with Cognos Analytics 11, and I totally get how having hierarchies as drop-downs instead of full lists would make dashboards much cleaner and more user-friendly. It’s like finding the right rhythm in Sprunki Retake (fun rhythm game)—streamlined, efficient, and just more fun to interact with. I’d love to see IBM implement this improvement soon!
Dropdown menus instead of hierarchies would be really useful for cleaner dashboards and easier navigation. It’s less confusing that way. Also, Jenny Mod Minecraft has some cool new mobs and gear, worth checking out if you like mods.
I really think dropdown menus would make Cognos much easier to use. Navigating large hierarchies can get confusing sometimes. I hope they add this feature soon. Also, the YouTube Music Premium APK has been great for listening to music while working. Thanks for providing a space to share ideas!

I tried to cover this a bit in the intro to the webinar, but my general guideline is to use
Dashboards when you want to turn something around quickly, when you have users who
aren't extremely picky, and for POCs. If I know I'm building something highly visual I
will always start in Dashboards and only try to Reporting when my users force my hand
with requirements that can't be satisfied in Dashboards.
