Report Delivery Option To SFTP Server

Many integration can be done using file exchange between two systems. Cognos can be used to extract data from the source system to be delivered to external system for ingestion. Currently, the only option to deliver data file to another sftp server requires manual interaction to save the report on to a local drive and then dropped into external sftp server.

The desirable approach is to provide sftp option for delivery method. With sftp method, report can be configured to deliver using keyless connection to sftp server or using username/password pair. This option will present a desirable integration approach with Cognos in an automatic fashion.
