Azure SQLMI Target - Support for "redirect" connection type

IBM CDC replication for Azure SQLMI target currently does not support "redirect" connection type. According to Microsoft documentation, redirect connection type is recommended for Azure SQLMI database connection in order to maintain low latency and high throughput for applications. Fidelity cloud policy also mandate connection type is set to "redirect" and not "proxy" for Azure SQLMI target.

Hence we are requesting IBM to enhance IBM CDC tool to support 'redirect' connection type to Azure SQLMI target.

    Thanks for filing this requirement.

After review we think that the underlying issue is a defect (associated with the relevant jdbc driver). We will address the issue as a defect (and not an enhancement). Please continue to communicate with our support team.
