Enable "overwrite encoding as binary" for CLOB

We have several CLOB columns in DB2 that contain binary data. Due to 0x00 Byte values we can't transfer them into a TEXT column in postgreSQL (0X00 is not accepted in utf-8).

The Option "overwrite encoding as binary" on the CLOB Column in "Db2 for z/OS Remote Source" would solve the problem (we could transfer the data into a BYTEA Column in postgreSQL). But this option is disabled.

0x00 is a valid Utf8 character. Every other database accepts character data containing 0x00. It is only PostgreSQL that will not accept it as valid character data.
