Sensitive Information disclosure

During our security assessment of deployed CP4D platform, our auditors have identified that the application displays Sensitive Information related to the backend technologies in the response. An attacker to gain more intelligence about the web server , OS ,DB and perform more focused attacks.

    This is a known response.

    We deliberately respond with some text that has nothing to do with the Product release or what technology is used under the covers especially for this reason Sensitive Information disclosurei.e. - this is just text unrelated to our product. It does not reveal anything sensitive

    we did this a couple of years back when pen test complained about seeing “openresty” here. The Text is to misguide and does not reveal anything about the server.
