Hi Susanna Tai,
I don't agree that both AHAs are duplicates, and it's important to understand their distinct functionalities.
The first AHA we're discussing (this current one) is focused on providing the option to restore catalog assets that have been moved to a bin or marked as deleted. This is about the action of bringing an asset back from a deleted state.
The other AHA, AIDPFM-1568, which has already been delivered in v5.0, addresses the need for a dedicated Trash/Bin Option/Area inside a Project or Catalog. This feature provides the location or container where deleted items reside temporarily.
While these two features are related, they are not duplicates. AIDPFM-1568 provided the necessary holding place, and this current AHA will provide the crucial recovery mechanism. This "restore" capability is a vital next step that complements the existing "Trash/Bin" feature.
Please let me know if this clarifies the difference.
Marking this as "Not Under Consideration" as it's a duplicate.
@Marcus Boone since this is a duplicate, Tilak and David agreed to close this ticket which is duplicate of 568 above

Hello @marcus Boone
We already have a duplicate Enhancement ticket CPDIDEAS-I-2578 can you please merge with this ticket.
Hello @Marcus Boone
We have a option inv5.1.X that we can configure delete option like that deleted asset can be deleted immediately and purge after 30 days in this case if i select 2nd scenario only purge count showing in UI, Here we don't have any option to see what assets are deleted in catalog and we don't have any option to restore if we want to restore the deleted asset. Yes we have a option to restore the asset by using API but it bit complex. So we need restore or recycle bin option in UI.
