DB2oC UI logon acceptance user name size greater than 20 characters

DB2oC User Interface is a smart way to access administration roles in a DB2oC instances.

DB2oC UI has a limit of 20 (twenty) characters to user name size.

In my company, for security purposes, we priorize logon proccess that uses IBMCloud App-ID service, which autenthicate users in our original user database (Microsoft AD).

As a consequence, when users are presented to IBMCloud, their user name follow a composition rule that adds the IdP (Identity Provider) code which makes the user name size becomes greater than 20 characters (in fact, depending original user name, it reaches 45 characters).

For most of IBMCloud portal funcionalities, there is no registered issues related to this user name size, but when users try to access DB2oC UI they receive an error message as follows: "HWCUSR0070E: Invalid Parameters. User ID can only contain lowercase letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), address sign (@), underscore (_), hyphen (-) and dot (.). The maximum length of the User ID is 20 characters and it can only start with lowercase letters and numbers".

So, we would like DB2oC UI accepts logons from users which user name size are greater than 45 characters.

This issue makes us kept an IBMCloud user database with IBMid in addition to our internal user database, which is a security issue and an additional operational user maintenance work.
