Allow IBM Data Server Runtime Client ODBC to connect with TLS signer certifcate to DB2 Server

DB2 ODBC client connect will not send a TLS signer certificate to DB2 server unless the client keystore DB has a default certificate.

I had to set the cert as the default certificated in the my local keystore db

>gsk8capicmd -cert -setdefault -db banktrade-odbc.kdb -stashed -label "my signer cert"

The functionality in GSK,  gsk8capicmd -cert -setdefault has been deprecated  "setdefault "

DB2 Client Version (level/bit): DB2 v11.1.3030.239

We require DB2 server to validated the client certificate, this is working by setting a default client certificate.

Using this command  >gsk8capicmd -cert -setdefault has been deprecated  "setdefault "

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for your idea on Db2 LUW.
Could you please clarify the scenario for which you require setting the default certificate at the client. At the current time, Db2 does not support validating a client certificate for authentication at the server, so it's not clear when this would be useful.
