    Hi Rodrigo,

    Thanks for submitting this idea. Improving Db2's support and integration for JSON is important to us and we have recently released (Db2 new JSON SQL functions to allow JSON/BSON to be easily stored and accessed in Db2 using SQL. If you are not aware of these enhancements, you can find more details in the product documentation ( or in this free ebook (

    We could use some help in understanding what additional capabilities you are looking for with this request. Can you provide some examples of what you mean by "native storage"?
