    Hi Rodrigo,

Thanks for submitting this idea. Improving Db2's support and integration for JSON is important to us and we have recently released (Db2 11.1.4.4) new JSON SQL functions to allow JSON/BSON to be easily stored and accessed in Db2 using SQL. If you are not aware of these enhancements, you can find more details in the product documentation (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEPGG_11.1.0/com.ibm.swg.im.dbclient.json.doc/doc/c0070285.html) or in this free ebook (www.ibm.biz/db2json)

We could use some help in understanding what additional capabilities you are looking for with this request. Can you provide some examples of what you mean by "native storage"?

    Thanks for your help,

    Paul
