the SYSPACKAGE's column "lastused" needs to update more frequently

Hi IBM,

As you see below in description of "lastused" column on SYSIBM.SYSPACKAGE, the updated must be done "whenever" the package is used but it's not true, so due to this doubt that we have when we saw that this column was not updated after package execution, we opened a case TS003388475, so follow the lab's answer.

"You summarized the information well. Not much I can add.

The reason for each case when LASTUSED updated is not externalized, I meant to say that, there is no IFCID, or catalog field to denote what reason caused the LASTUSED field updated.

If it is important to customer's application, or business usage, you can open a RFE to development directly at following url:

This will directly input to development, they can assess and decide what to do with it when planning for future enhancement.

    Thank you for submitting this Db2 for z/OS Idea.

    After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming deliverable because it is not consistent with the product strategy for future deliverables. As a consequence we will not be implementing this Idea.

    We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team. We also hope that you will continue to submit ideas for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS.

    The problem is, that we can not know for sure when LASTUSED is updated, so as such, this stats is not usable. It would be much more efficient if this statistic were updated at least once a day
