Create zparm item to change "VOLATILE" table default for implicit create table

Due to our huge DW/Analytics environment in DB2 z we have a lot of tables created by users without details about tablespace and database, so these tables are created with default values of DB2. However, the NOT VOLATILE is default value and can not be changed for implicit tables. This possibility that create table with VOLATILE default could be improve our environment because in most of cases the user to create this kind of table and populates it with very variety in size.

    Thank you for submitting this request. The Db2 for z/OS team has reviewed it and determined that what you have described is already addressed by the ZPARM NPGTHRSH. If NPGTHRSH is set to a value greater than 0 (NOTE: The Db2 recommended default is 1 as of this year 2020) - then any table with default statistics (-1s) or empty tables will default to the NPGTHRSH behavior, which is similar to VOLATILE. It is not recommended to set VOLATILE at a zparm level. Therefore, this enhancement will not be delivered.
