Make the TCPIP address available for security purposes

Currently the only data available on IP address is the literal 'TCPIP'

Please make the IP address available in a standardized fashion/form that the ESMs can exploit for source ID checking/verification...

    Thank you for submitting this Aha! Idea to the Db2 for z/OS team. We are pleased to inform that APAR PI89931 delivered: LOG CLIENT TCPIP ADDRESS FOR RACROUTE REQUEST=VERIFY AUTHENTICATION PROCESSING AT A DB2Z SERVER and another approach to consider is to enable the SERVAUTH class which can prevent user's from accessing Db2 when accessing outside a specific network zone.
