When AHA-RFE is implemented -> the APAR and/or KC -> include reference to AHA-RFE nbr

When an AHA -RFE is implemented and the knowledge center (KC) is updated AND/OR the APAR is updated/created then please consider putting a reference in the documentation pointing back to the AHA-RFE number!

There may be pros and cons to including the reference in the KC... but at least consider putting the reference to the AHA-RFE number inside the APAR description!

This will help provide us with context with why this "changed" to Db2 software was implemented. Sometimes I read the APAR or KC and I wonder why this was chosen by IBM as an enhancement... having this additional context will help me understand why IBM made this particular choice.

For example. I was reading this APAR PH30222

https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/apar/PH30222?mhsrc=ibmsearch_a&mhq=PH30222

and I understood the words... but I was trying to understand the big picture.

Later I asked (via a CASE TS005127784) and the responder to my case said the following TWO AHA ideas were the root reason that IBM made this APAR!

  1. DB24ZOS-I-501: Add a new DB2 message to note that 85% of the MAXDBAT parm has been hit and when exceeded (24 votes)

  2. DB24ZOS-I-335: TCP/IP SERVICES AVAILABLE for SECPORT (9 votes)

Including this background is useful to me.

Also, it might drive home the point to customers (DBAs who use Db2) that putting ideas in AHA is important... and so is voting on them!
