Dear Gail, Thank you for submitting this enhancement request. The Db2 for z/OS team for this component area reviewed the idea and has provided the following feedback:
As reported in the case TS008796509 is an asynch operation and unfortunately it is limited what Db2 can do. The user would need to take actions to find out why the command failed. We should have all these information documented in the publication. Therefore, there is no further enhancements Db2 can provide. The best action is for user to address the original problem to avoid the situation reported in TS008796509.
We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team and hope that you will continue to submit enhancement suggestions for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS.
Sincerely,
The Db2 for z/OS Team
