Provide Profile support for new KEY LABEL option

KEY LABEL will likely be implemented at the application area, which means that there could be hundreds/thousands of objects impacted. The current solution presented is: User objects - Set a key label using SQL interfaces (V12R1M502) • ALTER / CREATE TABLE – New KEY LABEL option • ALTER / CREATE STOGROUP – New KEY LABEL option That will be very time consuming for a huge number of objects, whereas using a PROFILE setting where you would insert a row into DSN_PROFILE_TABLE with the applicable ROLE or AUTHID for the given application area, and then DSN_PROFILE_ATTRIBUTES would have KEYWORD of KEY_LABEL and ATTRIBUTE1 would have the actual value.

    Dear Team SWAMI,

    Thank you for submitting this Db2 for z/OS Idea. After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming deliverable because it is not consistent with the product architecture (Db2 doesn't use profile tables to manage DDL options) and our strategy for future deliverables. Consequently, we will not be implementing this Idea.

    We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team. We also hope that you will continue to submit enhancement suggestions for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS.
