Status change or pending DDL when adding a KEY LABEL to an existing table

When an existing table is altered to add a KEY LABEL to enable encryption on the table, the encryption only takes effect post a Reorg (effectively post a redefinition of the underlying VSAM datasets). So the alter is effectively incomplete until some subsequent actions need to be taken. There is no informational status (probably more appropriate) or a pending status (could be an issue) on any of the associated spaces to indicate that the process is incomplete and if a Reorg is not run then the data stays unencrypted even though the user got a successful action taken message.

Also there is no pending change for this alter as this is an immediate change (bar the Reorgs etc to be run later)


It will be nice to an have an informational status on the table which will also help with identifying encryption related actions to be taken.
