Currently a REORG shrlevel CHANGE is not possible on UTS tablespaces which have an expression Index (Index on Expression) defined to them.
the message below gets issued:
DSNU076I DSNURFIT - KEYWORD=SHRLEVEL CHANGE INVALID FOR EXPRESSION-BASED INDEX TABLE SPACE
Applications, more and more, are wanting to store JSON in Db2 and query the key value pair in the JSON data. An Index on Expression can help with this access. To be able to offer these applications a true 24x7 solution will help with the takeup of storing JSON in Db2.
I appreciate that there may be technical challenges to do so but can IBM please look into this.

No, I am wrong. It is if the JSON_VAL built-in function is used (Which is basically a LOB under the covers!) or a spatial index exists.
Isn't this a restriction for LOB columns only?
