Allow for clear text NEWAUTHID in SYSIBM.USERNAMES

We use SYSPROC.DSNLEUSR to encrypt usernames and passwords that are stored in the DSNLEUSR table, The procedure encrypts both NEWAUTHID and PASSWORD. It becomes difficult to manage the SYSIBM.USERNAMES table as we cannot see the NEWAUTHID in clear text. Please provide a method to store or view the NEWAUTHID in clear text.

    Dear Peter, Thanks for submitting this Db2 for z/OS Idea.

    After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming deliverable because it is not consistent with the product architecture and our strategy for future deliverables. Consequently, we will not be implementing this Idea.

    We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team. We also hope that you will continue to submit enhancement suggestions for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS.
