Retain image copies after clone drop/create

This blog by Robert Catterall has a good description of the challenges faced in using clone tables
http://robertsdb2blog.blogspot.com/2012/12/db2-for-zos-clone-tables-and-active.html
RFE 119032 addresses a part of the outage condition that may occur when a clone is dropped and required to add an additional column, and the image copy required due to active versioning.
When the ALTER ADD CLONE is re-issued, previous syscopy data must be removed via modify due to the active versions (sqlcode -148 is issued).
This data should be retained. The image copy may be flagged as not usable by the recovery process, but the information still retains value as the image copies may be unloaded.
