Load Format Internal needs to validate if columns of internal format record is compatible with the table being loaded.

Load Format Internal needs to validate if columns of internal format record is compatible with the table being loaded. Recently this was partially addressed with APAR# PI71965; however, this APAR only checks if the record is greater than the maximum record length of the table.

Recently we opened a PMR (referenced in this RFE) which described Db2 recursively abending multiple times. One of the theories presented by IBM is that it was due to using a Format Internal Unload on a table with 23 columns followed by a Format Internal Load into a table with 24 columns (opposite scenario of above APAR). No error was presented during the load which unknowingly left the table unusable, & potentially DB2 unstable.

Our organization has been left with little choice but to no longer use Format Internal in most cases due to its unsafe nature.

Please add appropriate safeguards to Format Internal Load to prevent unknowingly leaving Db2 in an unstable state, expanding upon what was started with APAR# PI71965.
