Thank you for submitting this enhancement request. Db2 for z/OS development has reviewed it. Unfortunately there are abend circumstances in which the utility does not regain control, thereby preventing the OPTIONS statement from taking full effect. On that basis there are no plans to provide this capability.

We have reorg jobs ending in error while processing objects in LISTDEF and stop further processing inspite of specifying
OPTIONS EVENT(ITEMERROR,SKIP

CAUSE=X'00C900BA' 00C900BA Explanation: A request for a drain lock for the resource identified by NAME in messages DSNT500I and DSNT501I could not be granted. The request waited for a period longer than the maximum specified by the installation.
We'd like to have the reorg job ignore this error and continue processing next items in LISTDEF instead of job stopping the reorg when we use OPTIONS EVENT(ITEMERROR,SKIP) in the reorg.
