Reset and Collect new statistics in one go

We sometimes need to reset the old statistics in regards to access path selection.
This is possible by RUNSTATS ... RESET ACCESSPATH. But in some cases the new RUNSTATS run long enough
so that DYNAMIC SQL statements can slip into this timegap.
Hence these SQL statements get an unintended access path with default statistics.

Currently the usage of e.g. RESET ACCESSPATH together with statistics gathering results in:
"DSNU070I 158 03:10:25.97 DSNUGDFL - KEYWORD OR OPERAND 'TABLE' INVALID WITH 'RESET ACCESSPATH' "

The requirement is to allow the reset and the collection of the new statistics in one go.

    Dear Wiltrud, We are pleased to inform you this has been delivered.

    In Db2 for z/os V12 FL507 we tied this capability to the use of USE PROFILE. If RUNSTATS USE PROFILE is used then we will gather new statistics and replace/remove the old statistics at the same time without any gap in between.
