Enhance the DB2 for z/OS stored procedure WLM interface to provide a config based APPL ID in RACROUTE REQUEST=VERIFY calls

Please enhance the DB2 for z/OS stored procedure WLM interface to provide a config based APPL ID value in all RACF RACROUTE REQUEST=VERIFY calls. This APPL ID is required to be able to suppress the ICH70001I RACF messages which result from using RACF INITSTATS together with a WLM managed DB2 stored procedure defined with SECURITY USER.
Without being able to suppress these messages high-volume stored procedure calls could flood the z/OS JES job log with the ICH70001I messages generated from RACF at each stored procedure call.
If DB2 supplied an APPL ID on the RACF REQUEST=VERIFY call then we could easily suppress the messages by defining a corresponding APPL class profile with 'RACF-INITSTATS(DAILY)' in the APPLDATA field.
It would be nice if the APPL ID could be a user defined value.

    Dear Stefan,

    Thank you for submitting this enhancement request. While we view all the enhancement requests we receive as valuable and we would like to implement all of them, in an effort to have maximum transparency we are closing the ones that don’t currently appear on our one year product roadmap. This is not to say that these enhancements may not still be implemented at some point in the future as we do evaluate our requirements on the basis of customer demand and technical impact, to deliver maximum value to our customers.

    We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team. And we hope that you will continue to submit enhancement suggestions for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS.
