Concatenation of Timestamps not possible in DB2 for z/OS

This SQL runs in DB2 LUW but not in DB2 z/OS:

WITH CTEREVUR AS(
SELECT OID, CREATEDBY, CREATEDAT, NAME, VALIDTO, VALIDFROM,
UPDATEACTION, REPLACEDAT, TIMESTAMP_FORMAT(VALIDFROM,
'YYYY-MM-DD') || TIMESTAMP_FORMAT(VALIDTO, 'YYYY-MM-DD') AS
COMBINE
FROM FE_REVISIONUSERROLE
WHERE OID = ?
UNION SELECT OID, CREATEDBY, CREATEDAT, NAME, VALIDTO,
VALIDFROM, 'CHANGED' AS UPDATEACTION, CREATEDAT,
TIMESTAMP_FORMAT(VALIDFROM, 'YYYY-MM-DD') ||
TIMESTAMP_FORMAT(VALIDTO, 'YYYY-MM-DD') AS COMBINE
FROM FE_USERROLE WHERE OID = ? ), CTECHANGEDETECT AS(
SELECT OID, CREATEDBY, CREATEDAT, COMBINE, LAG(COMBINE) OVER
(ORDER BY CREATEDAT) AS PREVIOUSCOMBINE, NAME, VALIDFROM,
VALIDTO, UPDATEACTION, REPLACEDAT, ROW_NUMBER() OVER(ORDER BY
CREATEDAT) AS RN
FROM CTEREVUR
ORDER BY CREATEDAT
)
SELECT 'REVISION' AS TYP, OID, CREATEDBY, CREATEDAT, VALIDFROM,
VALIDTO, NAME, CASE WHEN RN = 1 THEN 'NEW' ELSE 'CHANGED' END
AS UPDATEACTION, REPLACEDAT

WHERE PREVIOUSCOMBINE <> COMBINE
OR PREVIOUSCOMBINE IS NULL

    Dear Udo,

    Thank you for submitting this Db2 for z/OS enhancement request. We have reviewed this request and believe it is a good candidate

    for the Db2 for z/OS product. However, it does not align within functionality prioritized for delivery within the next 12 months. Therefore, unfortunately, we will not be considering this idea at this time.

    This idea will remain in our product backlog and may be revisited as we continue to plan for later features and functions.

    We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team. We hope that you will continue to submit enhancement suggestions for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS.

    Sincerely,

    The Db2 for z/OS Team
