Enhance DB2 global health monitoring to include "sick DB2" scenario

Enhance DB2 global health monitoring to include "sick DB2" scenario encountered in PMR 34910,082,000. In that particular case, DDF work continued routing to the sick member, instead of to only healthy members, and our customers were severely impacted until we brought the sick DB2 down.

Today, Db2 is obtaining the feedback on “health" from WLM to and pass to sysplex workload balancing function. The WLM feedback including the CPU capacity and available memory, thus we should be covered for the cases of CPU delay or paging, but not for the case of response time delay due to Db2 or IRLM contentions or outside of Db2/IRLM issues. We are considering improving the detection of “sickness” working with z/OS team. Unfortunately, I do not have the access to the PMR anymore. Could you please provide more detail what was your case which we should detect the sickness? Thanks for your input.
